Chard Town Council has responsibility for the Cemetery. Situated within the grounds is the Chapel, built in the 1850s, which can be used for funeral and memorial services. A book of remembrance is kept inside and can form a lasting memorial to a loved one. There is also a memorial garden.

Further Information
We can assist with the arrangement of interments which can take place in a grave or ashes plot. A Deed of Grant of Exclusive Right of Burial may be purchased and it is possible for this to take place in advance of an interment. A memorial may be erected, subject to approval, following acceptance of an application form.
