Chard, Ilminster and District u3a

Welcome to your local u3a! If you are adjusting to a new area, living alone, or navigating later life, it is easy to feel a bit isolated. We are here to help you rebuild your network and find your community through the things you love.
We are a thriving group—part of a nationwide network of over 1,000 u3a UK branches—and we offer over 50 interest groups to choose from.
Why join us?
• Just for fun: There are no teachers, no classes, and absolutely no exams.
• Member-run: Everything we do is shaped and led by our members, making the possibilities endless.
• Shared learning: We explore new activities, learn from each other, and enjoy plenty of laughter along the way.
