Great Mead

Great Mead is the name of a pilot project aiming to transform 6.4 acres of under-utilised forgotten land into an amazingly beautiful garden, creative community space and wellness area for all.

A collaboration involving local organisations and community spirited individuals, we want to cultivate more than just plants – this is a project where all are welcome to participate in creating and shaping this canvas of land. All the potential is there, awaiting the realisation of creation by inspired volunteers with great energy and greater passion for this wonderful prospect.
